Architecturally designed to capture the essence of a traditional timber-lined boathouse and furnished with the attention to detail and style of a boutique hotel; it is simple elegance on a grand scale. The house is moments walk from a turquoise inlet, safe for children to swim river and a kilometer from a fabulous surfing beach. It is also a short walk into the cafes, bars, restaurants and shops of Barwon Heads.  

 

The White Beach House is a perfect place for a special beach holiday or celebration with family and friends.

The holiday town of Barwon Heads is located on the southern coast of the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia and is a highly sought after seaside destination, offering a diverse variety of coastal attractions from the shallow and sandy shoreline of the Barwon River to the windswept surf beaches which front Bass Strait along 13th Beach Road. The Bluff Lookout, at Point Flinders, is situated on a rocky outcrop and a network of surrounding walking tracks provides views over the town centre, along the Barwon River and in all directions across Bass Strait. The town has 3 world class golf courses, sailing, surfing and diving schools and a fabulous selection of trendy and classic cafes, restaurants and boutiques..

 

Please be aware that the house is not available for functions, parties or events. We rent for accommodation purposes only. This policy is strictly enforced by our local house manager.

This is evident in all of the details; from the stunning oversized teak furniture, cool ‘spa’ inspired accent colours, enormous dining table, 400 tc sheets, 5 star hotel quality mattresses and pillows.

 

Everything in The White Beach House has been carefully selected for comfort, function and style.

 

The double storey holiday home includes 3 distinctly separate living areas on the ground floor to ensure a calm and relaxing holiday.

 

The large, elegant living room is perfect for entertaining as it opens out onto two sides; a wide wooden veranda on the front and into a central courtyard and garden. The vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, generous sofas and clean modern lines provide a stylish and luxurious space to relax and entertain in. In winter the wood fire adds to the charm and appeal of this space.


The casual, fully fitted kitchen is open plan and incorporates an expansive daybed area with flatscreen tv which provides a perfect chill out space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to make holiday cooking a pleasure including Smeg appliances and Nespresso coffee machine for your morning latte.

The 3 meter long Dining Table easily seats 14 and opens out directly onto the central courtyard.

The large television rumpus room with modular seating and large flatscreen tv provides another separate space for kids to play or a separate group to relax. Portable Bose ipod speakers enable you to move the music from room to room.

There are 5 bedrooms in total.

The Master ensuite is a large room with a superking sized four-poster bed, walk-in robes, a built-in office space and a balcony that leads out to views of the Barwon River. The ensuite bathroom has a large bath and rainshower.

 

There are then 2 bedrooms with King Beds and 2 bedrooms with 2 large single beds and a trundle in each enabling a 3rd person to stay. There are 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets servicing these 4 rooms. There is a fully equipped laundry with top of the range washer and dryer.

The house has a 5 star energy rating and can be cooled with reverse cycle air conditioning in all of the upstairs bedrooms and underfloor heating and radiators downstairs.

The pricing on this site reflects a weekly price divided by 7. However, pricing for this property is based on per nightly figures so be sure to email us so that we can send you a detailed info sheet relating to different seasonal rates and special deals.

The pricing is also inclusive of a 10 hour clean, anything that goes beyond this timeframe and out of the regular clean, deductions will occur from the bond.
